Authenticity and Well-Being Project

Considering eastern and western cultures have different weights on connection and autonomy, and they emphasize well-being in different facets, this project aims to get a nuanced understanding of authenticity and well-being from a cultural comparison perspective.

The aim for this study is to understand the potential cultural differences on individual authenticity, well-being, and the association between authenticity and well-being. We have collected college samples in both US and China for both measurement comparison and association comparison.
